After graduating from Mississippi State University in 1999, I began teaching fourth grade in Starkville, MS at Alexander Elementary School.  In May 2000, I moved to Saltillo, MS, and taught fifth grade at Saltillo Elementary School for two years.  In May 2002, I was offered a job at Belgreen High School where I have taught a range of subjects and grades.  I am currently teaching 7th-9th grades English at Belgreen High School.

My name is Shauna Holcomb Humphries.  I am married to Derrick, and we have 3 children, Anna Grace (18), Conner (10), and Eli (3).  We currently reside in Golden, MS.  This is my 16th year to teach at Belgreen High School, and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
