Bio

My name is Donna Bobo Murray. I have been married to Patrick Murray for 30 plus years, and we currently reside in the Cherry Hill community on a small hobby farm. My husband owns and maintains a small business. My younger daughter, Ariel,  teaches math in Limestone County. Our older child, Erica, teaches elementary music in the Athens City School System.  My mother, Joyce Taylor, is a retired librarian from Phil Campbell school.  So, as you can see teaching is not only an important part of my life, but in the lives of most of my family members!

With over 29 years of teaching experience, now teaching in first grade, I continue to seek and practice innovative ideas in my classroom, while trying to instill in my students a love of learning, an eagerness to share knowledge, and a willingness to strive for greatness. Teaching has enhanced my life and continues to do so.
